My name's Ambika. I started this blog as a passion project in honor of my namesake, Amba Maa, who recently passed away. She, my mother, my sisters, and pretty much all the leading ladies in my life, inspired me to not only appreciate everything the world has to offer, but to also take the time to appreciate the stories of everyone I meet. This Blog will serve as a representation of that, along with being a living documentation of my Twenties. I’m very passionate about a lot of things, including: Human Rights, Nature Conservation, Special Needs Advocacy, Feminism, Fashion, Music, and the rest of our developing World and Pop Culture– so a lot of the content on this site will be geared more towards those topics. I’ll also focus a lot on what it’s like being a 24 year old Indian-American in the Southern California Diaspora, and how my family’s roots in Kenya and Uganda have influenced this experience. In any case, I’m really excited about starting this new project, so please bear with me as I learn and grow through this experience!
